Alice Price Bio
About Alice
Alice Price has served as Secretary of the Desert Lake Property Owners’ Association since 2023, bringing strong organizational skills, thoughtful communication, and a collaborative approach to supporting the Association’s Board of Directors.
A retired registered nurse, Alice has dedicated much of her professional and volunteer life to caring for others. Her commitment to community well-being continues through her involvement with Neighbours Saving Neighbours (NSN), a volunteer initiative supporting emergency response efforts in South Frontenac. Through this program, Alice assists first responders during cardiac arrest calls, providing valuable support to neighbours in moments of critical need.
As Secretary of the DLPOA, Alice plays an important role in supporting the Association’s governance and administration. Working closely with the President and fellow Directors, she is responsible for recording and distributing minutes from Board meetings, Annual General Meetings, and special meetings, while maintaining an organized archive of Association records. Her attention to detail and dedication help ensure continuity and effective communication across the Board.
Alice and her husband, Jonathan, are full-time residents of Desert Lake, where they have embraced both the natural beauty of the area and the responsibilities of lakeside stewardship. Alice values the close-knit community that surrounds the lake and believes in contributing to its well-being through both environmental care and neighbourly support.
When she isn’t volunteering or supporting the Association, Alice enjoys the quieter pleasures of lake life—particularly floating peacefully on the couple’s dock, taking in the beauty of Desert Lake, and occasionally enjoying a glass of wine.
Through her professional background, volunteer commitments, and involvement with the DLPOA, Alice brings a spirit of compassion, service, and genuine appreciation for the community she calls home.
