Board of Directors & Mission
About
Formed in 1976, the Desert Lake Property Owners’ Association promotes the responsible use, enjoyment, and conservation of this unique lake environment. Our Board is made up of dedicated volunteers who care deeply about stewardship, community, and the long-term well-being of Desert Lake. Together, we work to strengthen communication, support shared initiatives, and help ensure the lake remains a special place for current and future generations.
Our Mission as a Board
As outlined in the Constitution & Bylaws, the Voting Members elect from their ranks a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 Directors, each serving a minimum two-year term. These Directors constitute the Executive Committee and provide leadership on behalf of the Association.
The Board’s role is to represent property owners thoughtfully and responsibly, support lake stewardship, oversee communications and community-building initiatives, and help guide the long-term health of the Desert Lake community.
