We are thrilled to host this year’s Annual General Meeting in person* at Snug Harbour Resort. Property owners are encouraged to join us for important updates and community networking. Annual General Meetings are held each year at Snug Harbour Resort the Sunday after the August long weekend. This year's meeting will fall on Sunday, August 8th.

BYOLC - Bring Your Own Lawn Chair
NEW - Bring your Own Litterless Personal Snacks & Beverages**

We welcome Research Associate and Guest Speaker Kate Laird who will share the findings of the Water Quality Lake Assessment Report she was part of developing as posted on our website. We will also hear from our local Fire Chief who will share important fire safety messages. The President and Board Members will report on developments and other news. The mayor will attend as well as Councillors Alan Revill and Ross Sutherland who will provide an update on local initiatives. With the support of the Auditor, the Treasurer will report on our financial position, investments, expenditures and forecasts. We close off with a reception of networking over beverages and snacks (bring your own for personal consumption).

DONATION REQUEST
Have extra garbage bag tags to spare? Rob Cavin of Snug Harbour Resort would like to remind the group that he can use any extra tags and that donations are welcome and appreciated.
 

RAIN PLAN
In case of poor weather, we will gather at the Desert Lake Methodist Church just north of Snug Harbour at 7960 Canoe Lake Road. The capacity with physical distancing will be capped at 25. Masks required.

 

VOTING
A quorum at the Annual General Meeting shall be 24 Voting Members. At any meeting, a motion requires a favourable majority of the votes cast for approval, except for changes to the Constitution and by-laws which require two-thirds of the votes cast for approval. In the event of a tie vote at any meeting, the President or Chairperson shall cast the deciding vote.
